We enjoyed good breakfasts and the opportunity to meet the owners, Mohamed and Marina, who shared fascinating insights about the hotel’s unique architecture and local culture.

The hotel of choice in Luxor. Neat venue, very attentive employees with an offensive and patronising manner. Unique building and rooms with constant hot water. Beautiful setting in the really quiet area, not far from the river, and the free ferry.

Amazing location for visiting pubs and restaurants. Lovely beds and a safe, a refrigerator and a seating area. The pool area is nice too...

Positive, What a lovely stay! The room (Lapis) had a beautiful balcony view of the Nile. Marina, the owner, was so helpful and gave great tips for local visits. The food was the best we had in town, especially enjoyed the breakfast! A wonderfully charming place 😊

The amazing location next to the Nile made my stay special.
Unfortunately, my experience was marred by loud noises from staff early in the morning. The water pressure in my room was disappointingly low.

Good or Bad? Let me explain
A beautiful building overflowing with character! The fantastic staff arranged convenient boat rides and enlightening tours. The pool is pure bliss on hot days!
The dining experience fell short. Main dishes lacked flavor and didn't impress. Linen in the room could use an upgrade as well.

The charming decor reflects traditional Egyptian architecture. I appreciated the convenient motorboat service for easy crossings.
One of my towels had a stain.

The architectural charm of this place is unmatched. Excellent organic food options added to the lovely experience. I encountered a few issues. The water pressure in the shower was disappointingly low, and some of the towels were worn. Given the enchanting surroundings and friendly staff who took great care in arranging tours, it remains a nice destination for future visits.

I stayed in the Queen Room with Balcony, Ruby for one night, and it was spacious and super clean. The view from the balcony was amazing, especially in the morning. The bed was comfy, a big plus after a long travel day. The air conditioning worked perfectly too, keeping the room cool. It would have been great if the towels were in better shape, though.
